Who is Auri Allen?, he was a monster of a 12 year old. At his age, he was bigger than Shaq, his idol, and was still growing. For this reason, Auri Allen was featured on the show Ripley's Believe It or Not a couple of years ago, where he met and played against O'Neal. However, since then I've heard literally nothing about him. Does anyone even know who I'm talking about? If so, how's he doing in high school? Does he still have a legitimate shot at making the NBA?.
He is listed at 7'2" now at age 18 yrs.old, and as far as i remember , now he was already taller than Kobe Bryant back in 2002 (real monster huh?).
Type Auri Allen into google and you get his myspace page. Seems like he is still interested in basketball

auri is currently at crenshaw high school in los angeles california. he is getting ready to graduate. as far as college goes, i have no idea what hes got planned. im a good friend of his, hes a very good kid, a smart kid and well rounded mentally. he has a bright future ahead of him. he was injured in 2007 from a car accident and is still recovering from the accident and hopes to make a strong come back by the summer of 2009. keep your eyes open for this kid. he has great promise.

I asked Auri via his myspace page if he was going to play for Crenshaw, and his answer indicated that he was not going to. I googled his name, and apparently he did not. He told me also that he had a car accident, so, whether he can even play or not is a question, I guess.

Maybe basketball is no longer an option for him?
